And Haffner's current, young trio with pianist Simon Oslender and bassist Thomas Stieger, builds the perfect foundation for the music. The band played a celebrated tour in late 2021 that took place in a short "Corona break". And musicians' sheer joy of playing together and the excitement of the audience in experiencing this can be heard in every note of the live recording.
