Originally released in 1998 on Century Media Records, Rising captures the Atlanta-based band's unmistakable blend of ultra-heavy, down-tuned guitars, Bonz's hardcore rapping, and the relentless energy of guitarist Rich Ward.

Remastered by Rob Colwell for Brutal Planet Records' Metal Icon Series, this vinyl edition revitalizes the raw intensity and grit of each track. Rising took rap metal to new heights, fusing brutal grooves reminiscent of Machine Head, Slayer, and Pantera with the rebellious spirit of Rage Against the Machine.

Every song pounds with thick, groove-laden riffs supporting Bonz's fierce vocal delivery. This reissue also includes the bonus track "Suburban Ranger," adding even more punch to an already aggressive lineup. Rising didn't just make noise-it made cultural waves.

The music video for the title track, featuring WCW legends Diamond Dallas Page, Raven, and The Flock, became a staple on WCW Monday Nitro.
