Star Circus hit the gas on From the Wreckage, a 2025 sophomore set that trades polite introductions for sharper hooks, darker moods, and a proper rock n' roll strut. On colored vinyl, this edition adds a collector-friendly flash to an album built to play loud.
Following Separate Sides, Dave Winkler and Sophie Aurélia Young return sounding bigger, bolder, and far less interested in keeping things tidy. There is muscle in these songs, sure, but also real control - the kind that makes every chorus land harder. The band lean into a heavier melodic rock attack without losing their instinct for drama, uplift, and the occasional sly wink.
Tracks like Over & Over, One Hit Wonder, and The Wreckage show off that balance beautifully, pairing crunching guitars with arena-sized melody. Chained To You brings the tension, while Turn The Tide and Destiny’s Door add a welcome sense of lift amid the album’s more aggressive edges.
