A project ten years in the making, it reunites Liverpool-based sonic explorers Mark Kyriacou and Eleanor Mante in a transcendental, cross-river conversation of rhythm and emotion.
This is machine soul with a human heartbeat—cosmic, gritty, and gloriously off-kilter. Tracks like “UP” deliver ESG-inspired sci-fi punk energy, while “Roller Skater 23” shoots across hyperspace with Afrofuturist finesse. Slow-burning gems like “Go Slow Heart” and “Cosmic Trigger” explore lush, textured dreamscapes steeped in soul and synth.
Infused with the duo’s eclectic cultural roots, spanning Ireland, Greece, Nigeria, and Ghana, the album draws deeply from late-‘80s/‘90s techno, IDM, and Sun Ra-style mysticism. It's a kaleidoscopic blend of analog warmth, futuristic funk, and lunar longing.
