Recorded by famed Grateful Dead soundman Owsley “Bear” Stanley, these live performances from 1973 and 1976 in San Francisco offer a rare, immersive experience into the band's dynamic stage presence and virtuosic musicianship. The 1973 show, held at the Boarding House, was a special performance at the personal invitation of Jerry Garcia, adding an iconic crossover moment to folk and rock history.
This release also holds deep emotional weight, as it stands as the final project overseen by founding member Paddy Moloney before his passing.
