Twenty years on, Taking Back Sunday's Louder Now returns as a limited 20th anniversary edition on silver vinyl, with a bonus 7-inch of B-sides for collectors.

Released in 2006, Louder Now was the Long Island band's third album and their first for a major label, and it pushed them from scene heroes to one of the defining names in 2000s alternative rock. Producer Eric Valentine gave the songs heavier guitars and darker textures without sanding off the band's melodic bite, and the album debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200.

MakeDamnSure is still the big one, a slow-building rush of tension and release with dueling vocals that pull against each other right up to the final chorus. Liar (It Takes One to Know One) snaps and snarls through one of the most shout-along hooks of the era, and the whole record hits harder than anything they had made before.

The 7-inch adds Brooklyn (If You See Something, Say Something) and Sleep, two B-sides from the original sessions that fit right alongside the album's eleven tracks.

For anyone who wore this record out in a bedroom with the door shut and the volume high, the anniversary pressing feels like a reunion with an old friend who still knows every word.
