This ambitious 2LP release marks the band’s seventh studio album, and it’s easily their most daring, conceptual project to date. Packed with raw riffs, urgent lyrics, and bold commentary, Planet Zero is less a collection of songs and more a call to action.
With tracks like the blistering title song “Planet Zero,” the anthemic “The Saints of Violence and Innuendo,” and the searing “America Burning,” the band confronts everything from cancel culture to digital disconnection and fractured political discourse. Songs like “Daylight,” “A Symptom of Being Human,” and “Dysfunctional You” offer vulnerability, compassion, and a reminder that connection still matters.
Produced by bassist Eric Bass at Big Animal Studio in South Carolina, the album showcases a raw, deliberately stripped-down sound, paired with cinematic interludes voiced by Cyren, a robotic narrator guiding listeners through this dystopian landscape.
