Lil Peep’s Lil Peep; Part One is the raw and unfiltered project that started it all.
Originally released in 2015 and created in his bedroom in Long Island, New York, this mixtape laid the groundwork for Peep’s signature fusion of emo, punk, and hip-hop—a sound that would go on to define a new wave of music. Now, to mark its 9-year anniversary, this 2024 posthumous CD release gives fans the chance to own a piece of Peep’s earliest work in physical form.
Featuring some of his most beloved tracks, including "Praying to the Sky" and "The Way I See Things," the project is a hauntingly beautiful exploration of themes like mental health, heartbreak, and self-destruction. Peep’s lo-fi production and emotionally charged lyrics capture his vulnerability and authenticity, making this mixtape a cult classic.
With its creative use of samples from Thirty Seconds to Mars, Flyleaf, Lil B, and even the Fullmetal Alchemist theme, Lil Peep; Part One is a testament to his genre-blurring artistry.
