Limited to just 1000 splatter‑vinyl box sets, this edition packs 40 tracks across eight 12″ LPs, each pressed in a unique transparent color with neon splatter, plus custom inner sleeves, hypnotic op‑art labels, a hand‑numbered collector’s box, sticker, and a bonus double‑sided poster.
Recorded live at The Salt Shed in Chicago from June 11‑13, 2023 during their U.S. Residency Tour, this release captures nearly six hours of blistering performances: from microtonal psychedelia to thrash‑rock fury, mixed and partially produced by band visionary Stu Mackenzie.
Highlights include opening night epics like “The River” flowing into “Evil Death Roll,” “Magma,” and “Boogieman Sam” (complete with a snippet of Canned Heat’s “Going Up the Country”), plus the debut live renditions of “Change,” “Hate Dancin’,” and “Astroturf,” and the first full performance ever of “Invisible Face.”
