Steven Spielberg's 1984 prequel to Raiders of the Lost Ark took Indy into darker, wilder territory, and Williams answered with one of his most propulsive and percussive scores, full of vivid colour and breakneck momentum. This edition gathers twenty-two cues across four sides, following the film from its opening nightclub number all the way to the end credits.

Anything Goes kicks things off with a burst of 1930s showbiz glamour, sung in the Shanghai nightclub scene before the chaos begins. Short Round's Theme offers a playful, warm-hearted melody for Indy's young sidekick, while The Mine Car Chase is a breathless, roller-coaster set piece that ranks among Williams' most thrilling action writing. Slave Children's Crusade builds to a triumphant, full-orchestra climax.

Throughout, ominous chanting, thundering brass and darting strings capture the film's mix of menace and adventure, with Indy's familiar heroic theme never far away.
