Jill Scott's To Whom This May Concern is her first album in more than a decade, a sixth studio set pressed on clear orange 2LP vinyl.

Released in 2026, it finds the Philadelphia singer and poet drawing on personal setbacks to write about self-worth, spirituality, love, Black history and community, often in the form of affirmations. The production team runs deep, from longtime collaborator Andre Harris to DJ Premier, Adam Blackstone and Om'Mas Keith, and Scott herself has a hand in shaping the sound. Nineteen tracks give her room to move between song, spoken word and everything in between.

The guest list is just as rich. Trombone Shorty brings New Orleans brass to "Be Great", JID joins her on "To B Honest", and Tierra Whack, Too Short and Ab-Soul all stop by, yet the album never loses sight of the voice at its centre. Singles "Beautiful People" and "Pressha" show the range, from warm, generous soul to sharp, grown-woman confidence, all delivered with the poet's ear for a telling line.

It's a reminder of why Scott became a cornerstone of neo-soul in the first place, rich in feeling and fiercely herself. Across four sides of orange vinyl, it makes for a long, rewarding listen best taken without skipping a single track.
