Tracks like “Bug Museum” and “Ugly/Bored” showcase her signature mix of dissonance and melodic sweetness, pushing sonic boundaries while keeping the emotional core front and center.
Medford recorded Crush Crusher with the help of engineer and producer Gabe Wax (known for working with Deerhunter and War on Drugs), resulting in a more expansive, layered sound than her debut. The guitars are sharper, the lyrics more piercing, and the vibe? Deliciously unfiltered.
