Originally released in 1990, Frizzle Fry features the iconic “John the Fisherman,” along with bass-heavy freakouts like “Too Many Puppies” and “Pudding Time.” Les Claypool’s virtuosic slap bass and the band’s off-kilter groove still sound as wild—and essential—as ever.
