Recorded live at central Europe's most important Jazz Club 'Porgy & Bess' Vienna during an extensive tour this double album consist of original compositions featuring new music by saxophonist Guido Spannocchi with his quartet and presents an insight into entirely new arrangements as well as stunning interplay by one of London's most exciting ensemble. The album features some of London's most renowned players: Ruth Goller on bass known for her work with Vula Viel, Melt Yourself Down, acoustic ladyland and Shabaka HutchinsDanny Keane on piano and Rhodes known for his work with Mulatu Astatke, Anoushka ShankarPete Adam Hill on drums known for his work with Alfa Mist, Jo Harrop and more. Recorded live by Valentin Zopp, mixed by Raphael Spannocchi at Sound Alm Haid, Bavaria's hub for new music and mastered by Pete Fletcher at Blackbay Studio Scotland. Pre-release airplay on BBC Radio3, BBC Radio 6, JazzFm, NTS Radio, Threads Radio, Radio o1 and more has sparked first reviews on blogs like Jazzviews, AllAboutJazz, BestOfJazz and more and since Spannocchi's success with his previous album 'Perihelion' this new record is likely to sell out swiftly.
