André 3000’s Moving Day is an intimate sonic document of transition—capturing the artist at a deeply personal and reflective moment. Pressed on vinyl, this release blends ambient textures with field recordings, snippets of conversation, and experimental compositions that drift between past and present.
The score, created in real-time alongside filmmaker Dexter Navy, serves as both a soundtrack and a self-portrait. It’s meditative, raw, and infused with emotional weight. Paired with the previously unreleased New Blue Sun sessions track “Tunnels of Egypt,” Moving Day offers a rare glimpse into André’s creative and personal evolution—quiet, cosmic, and unmistakably him.
