Turkish Delight Volume Three is a thirty-year toast to melodic rock, curated by Escape Music co-founder Khalil Turk and packed with the genre's biggest voices on cool blue and bloody red double vinyl.
Turk entered the industry in the early 1990s as a talent scout for Long Island Records before co-founding Escape Music with Barrie Kirtley, a label whose first release, Heartland's III, arrived in 1995. Since then the label has issued hundreds of albums of hard rock, melodic rock and AOR, and this 2025 collection reflects Turk's famously infectious enthusiasm for finding great songs and the players to bring them to life.
A Moment of Truth features James LaBrie of Dream Theater, Chasing the Dream pairs Robin McAuley with Howard Leese, Rose in Hell brings in Glenn Hughes, and I Am the Night teams Andrew Freeman with Doug Aldrich for the longest, grandest rock workout.
Fourteen tracks, a guest list that reads like a festival poster, and plenty of big choruses, crisp guitar solos and soaring vocals. It is a love letter to a genre that never stopped believing in melody, and a feast for anyone who still thinks the best rock songs are the ones you can sing along to in the car.
