Panem gets a soundtrack worth fighting over: The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping (The Album), due as a coloured double LP in premium packaging.

The film adapts Suzanne Collins' 2025 novel, which winds the clock back to a young Haymitch Abernathy and the brutal 50th Hunger Games. The franchise has always treated its companion albums as events in their own right, and this one keeps that tradition alive. Dave Cobb, the Nashville producer known for his warm, rootsy touch, executive produced the set, gathering artists from across genres to write in and around the story.

Noah Kahan leads the charge with "Draw You Out," co-written and co-produced with Aaron Dessner, and it carries the aching, campfire intensity his fans know well. The Smashing Pumpkins bring the heaviest weather with "Black Stars," a Billy Corgan song picked with longtime producer Butch Vig as the best fit for the film. Elsewhere, titles like "Ash and Snow" and "Metal Birds" hint at the grit and dread waiting in District 12.

Spread across two LPs, the sequence moves between intimate songwriting and louder rock moments, and three tracks appear in Arena Mix form.
