Trivium's eleventh studio album, Crown In The Grave, is headed for gold double vinyl, and it finds the Orlando metal veterans working closer to home than ever before.
For the first time, the band built the record inside The Hangar, their own creative hub and de facto clubhouse in Orlando. Matt Heafy, Corey Beaulieu and Paolo Gregoletto were joined by drummer Alex Rüdinger, who came aboard in 2025 and makes his studio debut with the band here. Longtime producer Josh Wilbur, known for his work with Lamb of God and Korn, returned behind the desk, while Jacob Hansen mixed a Trivium album for the first time.
Two singles set expectations high. Dead Inside Of Me arrived first, followed by the title track Crown In The Grave and its accompanying video, both built on the twin-guitar firepower and the shift between soaring clean vocals and throat-shredding roars that have defined the band for two decades. Twelve tracks in all, opening with Jorōgumo, give the new lineup plenty of space to stretch out.
The band will take the new material on the road across North America with In Flames as special guests.
For longtime fans and newer converts alike, this gold pressing is a striking home for the next chapter of one of modern metal's most consistent bands.
