Thornhill's BODIES Definitive arrives on limited white and blue galaxy vinyl, a striking new home for the Melbourne band's heaviest and boldest era.
The third album from the Australian alternative metal outfit first landed in 2025, reaching the top five of the ARIA Albums chart and marking their first record without guitarist Matt van Duppen. Produced by Sam Bassal, it fuses nu metal grit and metalcore weight with the atmosphere and melody that have always set them apart, and this Definitive edition revisits that record a year on.
Silver Swarm swings between crushing low end and an icy, soaring hook, while Revolver flexes the band's growing taste for groove. Obsession and Tongues, both released ahead of the album, show off Jacob Charlton's elastic vocals as he lurches from croon to roar and back again without missing a beat.
Throughout, the riffs hit hard but the songs never lose their sense of drama, with textures that feel cinematic and a little dangerous. Short, sharp and expertly paced, the record sounds like a band who know exactly who they are.
