The Neighbourhood's (((((ultraSOUND)))))+ is the expanded edition of the band's comeback album, pressed here as a 2LP set on 140 gram orange vinyl.

After going on hiatus in 2022, the California band returned in 2025 with (((((ultraSOUND))))), their fifth studio album, produced by Jono Dorr. This 2026 edition adds five new songs to the original fifteen, filling out a fourth side and extending the album's moody blend of alt-rock, R&B and shimmering pop. It plays like a band rediscovering what it loves about making records together. The break clearly did them good.

Lead singles OMG and Lovebomb set the tone, with Jesse Rutherford's hazy croon floating over glossy guitars and woozy, low-slung beats. Opener Hula Girl leans into a dreamy, sun-faded mood, while the new material is led by Good Grief, a bittersweet highlight that has quickly become a fan favourite. The extra tracks feel less like leftovers and more like a natural next chapter.

With all twenty songs spread across four sides, this set offers the complete picture of the band's return, and the orange pressing makes it a striking piece for the shelf. For fans who waited out the break, it is a welcome reunion on wax. Drop the needle on side one and let it run.
