This collection comprises 23 seven-inch singles pressed on 180gm vinyl, featuring 46 tracks—including 29 A and B-sides not originally on their British albums and the mid-1990s singles "Free As A Bird" and "Real Love." Masterfully cut from the original mono and stereo tapes by Sean Magee at Abbey Road Studios, each single is enclosed in meticulously reproduced international picture sleeves. This collector's treasure also includes a 40-page booklet adorned with photos, ephemera, and in-depth essays by Beatles historian Kevin Howlett, set for worldwide release on November 22 by Apple Corps Ltd./Capitol/UMe.
"The Singles Collection" encapsulates the breathtaking evolution of The Beatles through their concise recording career. Highlighting their transformation from the pop-anthem "She Loves You" in 1963 to the psychedelic "Strawberry Fields Forever" in 1967, the set traces the band's groundbreaking progress.
