Take That head for the glitter ball on Dreamers, the tenth studio album from Gary Barlow, Mark Owen and Howard Donald, pressed here on black vinyl as a UK import.

Due in 2026, it follows This Life, the 2023 record that handed the trio their ninth UK Number 1 album. Fresh from a summer of stadium dates, the band went looking for energy rather than nostalgia, building a set inspired by disco, house and the classic pop records that shaped them. They have said they never set out to write about their own story, though more than three decades of shared history inevitably seeps into the songs.

The title track landed alongside the album's announcement and sets the brief with big hooks and bright, glossy production. You're A Superstar and Sweet July were among the early previews, while Feel My Love brings in Michael Patrick Kelly as a guest voice alongside the band's familiar harmonies. Across twelve songs the energy rarely dips for long.

The pop art inspired cover hints at the mood inside: colorful, playful and happily out of step with whatever is fashionable this week.

For anyone who has followed Take That from boy band beginnings to stadium veterans, this sounds like a group still enjoying each other's company, and inviting everyone else onto the dancefloor.
