Sweet prove the glam rock flame still burns bright on Live 25, a double album capturing Andy Scott's band on stage in 2025.

Scott, the band's guitarist since 1970 and the only surviving member of the classic lineup, leads a sharp modern lineup featuring singer Paul Manzi, bassist Lee Small, keyboardist and guitarist Tom Cory and drummer Adam Booth. Most of the set was captured at London's Shepherd's Bush Empire, and the recording keeps the punch and swagger of a band playing to a room that knows every word.

The hits come thick and fast. Ballroom Blitz still detonates on cue, Fox on the Run is as irresistible as ever, Blockbuster brings the siren-wailing swagger, and Love Is Like Oxygen shows the more ambitious, melodic side of the band's later years.

Alongside the classics sit deeper cuts and newer songs, proof of a band still writing and still hungry, and the whole set moves with the confidence of musicians who know exactly how to work a crowd. Harmonies are stacked high and the guitars are turned up loud.

For anyone who grew up with these songs blasting from the radio, this two-LP set is a joyful, high-volume trip back, played with real conviction by a band that clearly still loves every minute of it.
