Pulling from their combined eclectic influences, Sunbuzzed creates a fresh and genre blending mold of heavy, dark psychedelia. Featuring Lo Ramirez on guitar and lead vocals, Cari Elizondo on lead guitar, Ellie Alonzo on drums and Daniel Serrano on keys, they conjure a spectrum of sound that is raw with intensity and full of melodic entrancement. Initially formed as a side project among four longtime friends, Sunbuzzed started playing shows around North Texas in 2015. Two years later in the fall of 2017, Sunbuzzed released their self-titled EP on Heavy Baby Records. In March 2018, they shared a sold out stage with Dead Meadow in Dallas, TX and they closed out the year at Austin's annual Saturnalia Festival with Holy Wave, Golden Dawn Arkestra, and Mystic Braves. In just two years, their distinct sound and imagery, both particularly reflective of their shared Tejano culture and interests in occultism, astrology, and esoteric art forms made them a coveted presence in Texas' blooming heavy psych music scene. Their live performances have grown notorious for a loaded experience encompassing music, magic and motion.
