Drawing inspiration from popular films, Sufjan Stevens and Angelo de Augustine have crafted 'A Beginner's Mind', their debut collaborative album comprised of 14 folksy, sweet, sincere and harmonically effervescent songs.
Fusing elements of Simon & Garfunkel and New Age to marry highbrow and lowbrow, the duo effectively simulates the same sense of wonder, wordplay, and intrigue in their music. The album asks us to consider our lives from a novel perspective, and to contemplate the relevancy of that exercise in our day and age. Vinyl LP pressing.
