Little Miss Twain sends Shania Twain back to where it all began, a deeply personal 2026 album pressed here on red vinyl.

Her seventh studio album looks back to her childhood in Timmins, Ontario, when she was singing in local bars as a young girl to help support her family. Few stars have a more remarkable origin story, and here she finally builds a record around it, revisiting the kid who learned her craft long before the stadiums and the record-breaking sales.

Zach Dawes produced, giving the songs a polished, warm finish that sits comfortably between country and pop. The title track, featuring Tanya Tucker, is a tender homage to her mother, with Mellotron and pedal steel adding a wistful glow. Dirty Rosie, an early single, keeps things light on its feet with the kind of storytelling she has always done so well, while Faded Blue Jeans brings in Josh Homme of Queens of the Stone Age for one of the record's grittiest moments. Take It to the River closes the album with The War and Treaty raising the roof alongside her.

It is a heartfelt chapter from one of country's biggest names, made with obvious affection for the girl she used to be. The red vinyl adds a bold splash of colour to match her famously fearless style.
