Saliva's Breaking Through is a 2026 hard rock record built on big choruses and the post-grunge muscle that first made the Memphis band's name, pressed on colored vinyl.
Bobby Amaru, who has fronted the band for well over a decade, co-produced the album with Steve Perreira, with Howard Benson and Neil Sanderson of Three Days Grace serving as executive producers. Released through Judge & Jury Records, its 13 songs honor the band's early-2000s radio era while pushing forward with modern heft and polish.
Guests add plenty of firepower. Trevor McNevan of Thousand Foot Krutch appears on "Cope", original Hinder vocalist Austin John Winkler joins on "Too Broke to Fix", and Lynyrd Skynyrd turn up on the closing "Longshot", a cross-generational team-up that bridges Southern rock and modern hard rock. "Sadistic Love", one of the album's lead singles, revisits the band's classic sound with a tale of a toxic relationship.
Elsewhere, the opening "Hit 'Em Where It Hurts" and the title track lean into chugging riffs and fist-raised hooks built for the stage, the kind of songs that have kept the band on the road for so long.
For longtime fans, it is proof the band still knows how to land a punch, and the colored pressing makes a fine companion to their earlier records.
