Draco Rosa returns with Monte Sagrado ("Sacred Mountain"), the multiple Grammy-winning composer/writer/musician's first studio album of new material since since 2009's Amor Vincit Omnia and direct follow-up to the 2013 duets record Vida. Monte Sagrado peels off an impressive array of grinding, post-punk, neo-psychedelic grooves designed to transmit a sonic compliment to Draco's narrative desire to connect. Constantly exploring and taking risks, Draco has an enormous knowledge of many genres of music and always manages to merge his influences with his own inspiration to create something wholly unique and entertaining. His lyrics reveal new nuances and layers of meaning every time you listen to them and that's certainly the case again here.
