Rob Zombie's The Great Satan comes on Ghostly Black coloured vinyl in a gatefold jacket, a 2026 record that finds him gleefully digging back into his Hellbilly roots.

His eighth solo studio album, and his first since 2021's The Lunar Injection Kool Aid Eclipse Conspiracy, reunites Zombie with guitarist Mike Riggs and bassist Blasko alongside drummer Ginger Fish. Producer Zeuss, who also engineered and mixed the record, keeps everything lean and loud, with fifteen tracks blasting past in under forty minutes. There is no fat on it at all, just riffs, hooks and horror-show attitude.

Punks and Demons, the first single, tears out of the gate with snotty, punk-infused swagger, while Heathen Days and (I'm a) Rock 'N' Roller bring the stomping, chant-along energy that made his early solo records such horror-movie party staples. Tarantula adds another heavy hook, and short interludes stitch the album together with the B-movie flair Zombie has always worn proudly. Elsewhere the album veers between thrash-speed bursts and grinding, groove-heavy stomps, never sitting still for long.

With a gatefold sleeve showing off his own art direction and illustrations, this edition is made for collectors who like their metal served with a side of grindhouse. It is a loud, gleefully nasty good time.
