Reneé Rapp's debut album Snow Angel comes pressed on clear black vinyl, a big-voiced, unfiltered pop record from a performer who has never been interested in playing it safe.
Released in 2023 after her EP Everything to Everyone, the album captured Rapp moving from acting into music without losing an ounce of nerve. Alexander 23 worked on every track, giving the songs a polished frame without sanding down the bite. The record found an even bigger audience the following year, when she starred in the Mean Girls film and a whole new wave of listeners went looking for more.
Her voice is the main event, swinging from conversational wit to full-throated belting within a single chorus.
