The Raging Nathans are back with another 7", adding to their seemingly never ending arsenal of punk rock anthems. Their latest offering "Bring Me The Head of Betsy DeVos" is a 2 song single comprised of songs from the "Waste My Heart" sessions. The Nathans are leaving no doubt as to where they stand when it comes to this record. Everything from the music to the artwork is specifically designed to let you know exactly who this band is and what they are thinking. This record is a 7 minute soundtrack to the political hellscape of 2020. The band has increasingly gained popularity with their brand of no frills punk rock which is on full display here. The songs are consistently better and more well written on every record and this one is no exception. The guitar playing is intricate and melodic and the lyrics are biting and true with the slightest hint of sarcasm. Their disdain for the political machine and their support for the marginalized is clear and unmistakable. In a genre filled with imposters and mediocrity, The Raging Nathans are proving time after time, song after song, that they are at the head of their class. They are the real deal.
