Radiohead's I Might Be Wrong: Live Recordings captures the band proving that their most studio-bound music could come alive and mutate on stage.

This eight-track live set, issued in 2001, drew from the tour behind Kid A and Amnesiac, two records widely thought to be tricky to play live. Instead, Radiohead rebuilt the songs for the room, swapping studio precision for raw, physical energy. The band's XL reissue campaign brought it back to vinyl in 2016, and it remains one of the most rewarding corners of their catalogue.

"The National Anthem" opens with a menacing bass groove that feels even heavier than the studio take, and "Idioteque" becomes a frantic, strobe-lit dance track with Thom Yorke at full intensity. The biggest transformation is "Like Spinning Plates," reimagined from a backwards-tape experiment into a haunting piano ballad. Then comes the closer, "True Love Waits," a solo acoustic performance of a song fans had treasured for years, released here long before a studio version arrived on A Moon Shaped Pool.

That final track alone made the record something of a holy grail for many listeners at the time.

Fans of the Kid A and Amnesiac era will struggle to find a better live companion than this one.
