Queensrÿche's Condition Hüman arrives on white double vinyl as a UK import, the 2015 album that proved the Seattle metal veterans still had plenty of bite.

It was the band's second album with singer Todd La Torre after Geoff Tate's exit, following their self-titled 2013 return, and it found Michael Wilton, Eddie Jackson, Parker Lundgren and Scott Rockenfield digging deeper into the progressive heavy metal that made them famous. Producer Chris Harris, known as Zeuss, gave the songs a thick, muscular sound, and the record debuted at number 27 on the Billboard 200, a strong showing for a band three decades into their career.

Arrow of Time, the lead single, charges out of the gate with galloping riffs and soaring vocals, and Guardian keeps the momentum high with a hooky, fist-raised chorus. Hellfire leans into heavier, darker territory, while the closing title track stretches toward eight minutes of brooding, epic drama that nods to the band's Operation: Mindcrime heyday. La Torre's range is on full display throughout, hitting the high notes with ease.

For anyone who loves classic Queensrÿche's mix of precision and ambition, this is a welcome reminder of what the band can still do, and the white pressing looks every bit the part.
