Post Malone's Hollywood's Bleeding catches a restless genre-hopper at the height of his powers, pressed here as a clear green double LP.

His third studio album arrived in 2019, following Beerbongs & Bentleys, and pushed his blend of hip-hop, pop, rock and late-night melancholy even further, with a darker, more reflective streak. Longtime collaborator Louis Bell handled most of the production, giving the record a polished cohesion that holds together a remarkably varied cast of guests.

Circles became one of his defining songs, a breezy, guitar-driven heartbreak tune that sounds deceptively simple. Sunflower, his duet with Swae Lee from Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, adds a sunny melodic lift, while Take What You Want brings Ozzy Osbourne and Travis Scott together for a brooding power ballad that leans into his love of heavy rock. Goodbyes, featuring Young Thug, shows his knack for wrapping sadness in an irresistible hook.

Elsewhere DaBaby, Future, Halsey, SZA, Meek Mill and Lil Baby all drop in, yet the album never feels like a playlist, thanks to the unmistakable voice binding it all together.
