Mudvayne's Lost and Found lands as a 180 gram double LP in a gatefold jacket, a Holland import that gives the band's biggest record the room to hit properly.

Released in 2005, the third album came after the band opened for Metallica on the Summer Sanitarium tour and then disappeared to a rented ranch in Northern California, turning its garage into a makeshift studio to write. Producer Dave Fortman was chosen to fuse the raw energy of their debut with the three-dimensional depth of the follow-up, and the sessions moved to The Plant Studios in Sausalito. It debuted at number two in the US and became the band's best-selling album.

The singles show off the range. "Determined" is a full-throttle charge of stop-start riffing and barked vocals, while "Happy?" pairs a pummelling groove with one of Chad Gray's most cathartic choruses. "Forget to Remember" and "Fall Into Sleep" lean into melody without losing the band's twisting, technical edge, and Ryan Martinie's bass work rumbles through every corner.

Brutal one moment and surprisingly beautiful the next, it is the album where Mudvayne's chaos found its sharpest focus. This black heavyweight pressing is built for playing loud, and for anyone who grew up on mid-2000s heavy radio it is a straight shot of nostalgia with plenty of bite.
