Billed as the final album from Al Jourgensen's industrial juggernaut, Ministry's Hate To Go (Take Out Or Delivery) arrives on a limited green and black splatter LP.
Released in 2026 on Cleopatra, it lands some 45 years after Jourgensen started the band in Chicago. Across those decades Ministry went from synth-pop beginnings to the pounding, sample-heavy metal that helped define industrial rock, and Jourgensen never lost his appetite for political fury. Here he says he is getting it all off his chest: the state of the world, the people running it and how anyone might move forward.
The band is a tight, heavy unit, with guitarists Monte Pittman and Cesar Soto, bassist Paul D'Amour, John Bechdel on samples and synths and drummer Pepe Clarke Magaña. "Burned Out" and "We Hate" arrived first, all buzzsaw riffs and barked slogans, while "Crickets" opens the record with a grinding sense of menace. The closer, "We're Still Here", brings back former bassist Paul Barker for one last bow.
It is loud, angry and darkly funny, exactly what longtime fans would want from a farewell after so many years.
If this really is the end, Ministry are going out the way they came in: furious, defiant and impossible to ignore.
