Michael: Songs From The Motion Picture gathers thirteen recordings from the 2026 biopic onto a double LP, following Michael Jackson from Motown child star to the biggest pop act on the planet.

Antoine Fuqua's film, with Jaafar Jackson playing his famous uncle, leans on the music to carry its story, and the soundtrack keeps things refreshingly simple. Every track is an original recording, running from the Jackson 5's first Motown hits through to Bad, so the album plays like a career compressed into four sides and heard in the order it happened.

The brothers own the opening stretch. "I'll Be There" finds that young voice at its most tender, and two recordings captured live on the 1981 U.S. tour show The Jacksons as a seasoned arena act, years after the Motown singles that first made them famous.

Then the solo years take over. "Don't Stop 'Til You Get Enough" fizzes with disco strings and falsetto, "Billie Jean" struts in on that famous bassline, and "Human Nature" drifts by on soft synth pads, a reminder that his quieter moments could land as hard as the dance-floor fillers.

For anyone who walked out of the cinema humming, it makes an easy keepsake, and for younger listeners it works as a tidy first step into one of pop's deepest catalogues.
