Come Over When You're Sober, Pt. 1 is Lil Peep's 2017 debut album in miniature, seven songs of heartbreak and distortion pressed here on pink and clear vinyl.

By the time it arrived, Gustav Åhr had built a devoted following online with a sound nobody else was making, fusing emo guitar melodies with trap drums and a voice that seemed permanently on the edge of tears, and fans felt every word. This was his first proper studio album, more focused and melodic than the mixtapes that came before, and it landed only months before his death later that year at just 21.

"Awful Things" is the one most people know, a lovesick lament with Lil Tracy that swells into a cathartic, shout-along chorus. "Save That Shit" floats on a hazy guitar loop as Peep sings about longing and excess, while "The Brightside" and "U Said" show just how tender he could be beneath the tattoos and the bravado.

The whole record runs short, and that brevity hits hard. There is no filler here, only raw feeling and hooks that refuse to let go.

For a generation of fans these songs remain a lifeline, and this colored pressing is a fitting way to keep them close.
