Laura Jane Grace's "At War With The Silverfish" is an intimate and poignant album, now available on vinyl.
Half recorded at Grace's TinyQuietStudio in Chicago and half at Electric Eel in St. Louis, this album captures the raw, stripped-back essence of her artistry. Mixed by her Devouring Mothers bandmate Marc Hudson, the album features a blend of open wounds and tangled emotions that Grace fearlessly explores through her acoustic guitar and home recording setup.
The album showcases Grace's distinctive pluck, honed over years with Against Me! and The Devouring Mothers, but with a tender, inviting energy. "At War With The Silverfish" is not a loud declaration but a heartfelt invitation, offering listeners a capsule of Grace's artistic pulse.
