Larry Fleet takes stock on Another Year Older, a 2026 country record about time, work and the people who matter most, pressed here on green vinyl.
Raised in White Bluff, Tennessee, Fleet learned guitar and fiddle as a kid playing alongside family in a bluegrass band, then spent years grinding through small-town bar gigs before Nashville came calling. That road shows in his songwriting. This album, self-produced and released through Stellar Way Records in a new partnership with EMPIRE, favours reflection over reinvention, looking back at where he came from and ahead to where he is going.
The voice is the draw: big, gospel-tinged and soulful, carried over arrangements that lean on the grit of classic seventies country. Lead single "American Made" salutes endurance, humility and the dignity of a job done properly, while the title track "Another Year Older" offers steady, hard-won wisdom about the passing years. Titles like "Baseball on the Radio" and "Hotel Bible" hint at the everyday detail he loves to build a song around.
