Kehlani's self-titled fifth album arrives as a double LP on 140 gram violet marble vinyl, and it plays like a love letter to every era of R&B that shaped them.

Released in 2026 on their birthday, the record is the product of roughly two years of writing and recording, and it carries the confidence of an artist completely at home in their own sound. Its lead single "Folded" had already won two Grammys before the album arrived, and the full record went on to reach the Billboard 200 top five.

The production roster reads like a history lesson, with Babyface, Jermaine Dupri, Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis and Rich Harrison among the hands at the controls. "Folded" is a slow-burning ballad full of longing, "Back and Forth" brings Missy Elliott into the fold, and "Shoulda Never" pairs Kehlani with Usher for a silky late-night duet.
