Vulgus Illustrata Vinyl
Only 15 left in stock.
Vulgus Illustrata is Insidius at full throttle, and it has the swagger of a band that knows exactly how much damage it can do in eight tracks.
Hailing from Olsztyn, Poland, and active since 2012, the band has spent more than a decade blending old-school aggression with technical precision and blackened intensity. After the 2016 debut Shadows of Humanity and 2018’s Infamia, this 2025 third album was recorded at Heinrich House Studio and finds them sharper than ever.
The sound is razor-sharp and relentlessly physical. The Perfect Slave and Orgiastic set the tone with riffs that bite and drums that refuse to let up, while A Darkness That Divides lets the blackened edge creep in with a colder, more menacing atmosphere.
Guests lift the intensity further. Piotr Wiwczarek of Vader and Moyses Kolesne of Krisiun both appear on Destroy the Priests, bringing a heavyweight stamp of approval from two of the genre’s most respected names.
Fans of death metal that balances old-school brutality with modern precision will find plenty to chew on here. Eight tracks, all killer. Turn it up loud, give it your full attention, and let this Polish underground heavyweight remind you why the old school never really went away.
