Holly Humberstone's second album gets its final chapter in Cruel World…So It Ends, the expanded edition of Cruel World, pressed as a limited marbled double LP and imported from the UK.

The original Cruel World arrived in 2026, tracing the life of a relationship from first spark to fallout, with long-time collaborator Rob Milton producing. It was a bolder, more cinematic step for a songwriter who first won hearts with hushed, intimate confessionals, and it showed how comfortably she now fills a bigger canvas.

"To Love Somebody" was the album's first taste, while "Cruel World" and "Beauty Pageant" carry its blend of tenderness and bite. Milton's production leaves plenty of air around her voice, so every bruised line lands.

This edition adds five songs to the original twelve, led by the single "Too Cute To Be Lonely," which leans into the gothic synth-pop sound she has made her own. The result plays less like a bonus disc and more like an epilogue, a chance to see how the story ends.

For anyone who lived inside Cruel World the first time around, So It Ends closes the book with a little more to say, on marbled vinyl that suits the album's moody palette.
