Gregory Alan Isakov’s Evening Machines arrives on vinyl LP, marking his stunning Dualtone debut and further cementing his reputation as one of indie-folk’s most evocative voices.
Recorded in a converted barn studio on his Boulder County, CO farm, the 12-track album was self-produced and expertly mixed by Tucker Martine (Neko Case, The Decemberists) and Andrew Berlin (Descendents, Rise Against). The result is a lush, atmospheric collection of songs that balance intimacy with cinematic scope, perfectly suited for vinyl listening.
Since his 2003 debut, Isakov has built a devoted following through worldwide tours with artists like Iron & Wine, Brandi Carlile, and Nathaniel Rateliff, while also collaborating with major symphonies across the U.S. His music has been featured in over 50 film and TV placements, including beloved tracks like “Amsterdam” and “Suitcase Full of Sparks.” With its warm, organic production and heartfelt storytelling, Evening Machines is an essential vinyl release for fans of reflective, soul-stirring folk music.
