GIDEÖN's HOMO-CENTRIC RECORDS continues to go from strength to strength with it's third EP, the soon to be dancefloor classic Brighter Day featuring Tobirus Mozelle and Tasty Lopez. Launched in September 2022 with the Ritmo EP and an homage to Detroit powerhouse Aaron Carl. The imprint, founded primarily to amplify the queer DNA at the heart of house, features like-minded artists whose approach to deep house aligns with GIDEÖN's well-respected underground musical aesthetic. "It's a sign of the times, they sell our culture for a dime" Brighter Day is GIDEÖN's response and reply to Cajmere's original house classic Brighter Days feat Dajae. This new track is a love letter to the hope and optimism of those early days of house. A postcard from the dark and complex times of today's dancefloors.
