George Harrison's Live in Japan captures a rare and joyful return to the stage, presented here across two LPs.

Recorded on his 1991 tour of Japan and released in 1992, it documents his first full tour since 1974, with Eric Clapton and his band providing rock-solid support. Clapton had encouraged his old friend to get back out on the road, and the warmth between them runs through the set, from careful, faithful arrangements to loose, celebratory jams.

The setlist is a gift, mixing Beatles classics with solo favourites. Taxman bites with wry humour, Something shimmers with all its tender elegance, and While My Guitar Gently Weeps becomes a showcase for Clapton's guitar alongside Harrison's own. Got My Mind Set on You brings a playful late-1980s bounce to the party.
