Radio, the lead single, set the tone ahead of release, and California Girls and Konnichiwa followed it as singles, the latter painting a vivid picture of wealth and style. No Misery opens with a clip of André 3000 reflecting on the pain behind Future's music, a fitting frame for a record that keeps flickering between bravado and introspection, sometimes within a single verse.

The production stays dark and glossy throughout, giving his melodic, Auto-Tuned delivery plenty of room to drift and stab.
