Thierry Wolf and Frédéric Lai (son of the composer) selected around ten DJs, including several iconic figures of the French Touch movement who have left their mark on legendary collections such as Hôtel Costes. These artists, known for their creativity and expertise, have been entrusted with the task of breathing new life into the works of Francis Lai by reinterpreting some of his most emblematic compositions.

The DJs, free to choose the tracks they wish to revisit, often surprise by selecting lesser-known pieces by Francis Lai-choices that are often deeply personal. For instance, Play Paul (Paul de Homem-Christo), a well-known name in the electronic music scene and younger brother of Daft Punk's Guy-Manuel, chose Robert & Robert because it was the last piece of music he listened to with their father before his passing.

Similarly, Philippe Cohen Solal of Gotan Project, who has a deep emotional connection to L'Amour est bien plus fort que nous, chose the title of that song as the epitaph on his parents' gravestone. Whether tied to touching memories or joyful moments, all the DJs share a common passion: reimagining the music of Francis Lai and giving it a new life, while passing it on to future generations.

This unique project blends heritage, emotion, and musical innovation. Through these remixes, it offers a fresh perspective on Francis Lai's musical universe while paying tribute to his pioneering spirit.
