Rob Dukes is back behind the microphone, and Goliath finds Exodus swinging as hard as ever. This 2026 double LP spreads ten bruising thrash tracks across four sides.
The Bay Area veterans have been at this since Bonded by Blood helped write the thrash rulebook in 1985, and Goliath opens a fresh chapter on several fronts. It is their first album for Napalm Records, and it brings Dukes back into the fold after Steve "Zetro" Souza's departure, marking his first studio record with the band since Exhibit B: The Human Condition. Gary Holt and Lee Altus trade riffs like old sparring partners, Tom Hunting drives the songs from behind the kit, and Jack Gibson keeps the low end locked tight.
Opener "3111" wastes no time getting to the point, setting a breakneck pace for what follows. Peter Tägtgren lends his vocals to "The Changing Me," while the title track brings in strings from Katie Jacoby for a moodier, more expansive turn. "Violence Works" lives up to its blunt name, and Mark Lewis's mix and master keep every riff sharp.
Goliath is the sound of a band with nothing left to prove choosing to prove it anyway. Spread over two discs, it gives the riffs room to breathe and the volume knob reason to climb.
