Everlast's Embers to Ashes is a sprawling 17-track statement on double vinyl, and the former House of Pain frontman sounds as weathered and defiant as ever.

Released in 2026 on his own Martyr Inc Records, it is his first full album since Whitey Ford's House of Pain in 2018, and it pairs him with an inspired collaborator. Alabama rapper and rocker Yelawolf handled the production, with Everlast taking co-producer and executive producer credits, a partnership that makes sense given both artists' knack for blending hip-hop attitude with roots-rock grit.

Lead single "Stones" arrived months ahead of the album, and titles like "Broken Heart for Hire," "Rubber Bullets" and "Embers to Ashes" hint at the bruised, reflective mood running through the set. Everlast has always written like a man with scars to show, and at this stage of his career that voice carries real weight.

Chris Lord-Alge mixed the record and Ted Jensen mastered it, so expect a big, punchy finish, while keyboardist Peter Keys adds colour around the edges.

For anyone who followed him from the House of Pain days through Whitey Ford Sings the Blues and beyond, this double LP is a substantial new chapter from an artist still finding new ways to tell hard truths.
